Round the corner of your heart

An empty room
A ringing silence
The air is cold and still
Memories of the past tenant still lingers on
Numbness sets in
Engravings on the walls that are slowly fading away
As time passes
A blank and empty room is all that remains
A room that just houses tenants
Neglected and forgotten
Tucked away in that secluded corner

Once in a while a stranger creeps in
Once,twice,thrice
A presence is felt
Some parts of the coldness melts
But only time can tell how long would it last
Before it returns to how it was like in the past
Where all was left was a blank and empty room
Tucked away in that secluded corner
